You can rest assured that the dentures that Mark will make for you will be comfortable, fit you perfectly and look very natural.

Mark Tinker

Modern denture design is quite complicated, and although some wearers may experience difficulties when wearing dentures there are numerous solutions, which can be applied to help make dentures more stable and successful. Mark combines technical expertise with creative and artistic flair, ensuring all Changing Faces® dentures made by him are as life-like as possible, restoring comfort and confidence to denture wearers.

Mark graduated from the International Denturist College in Toronto, Canada with honours and from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Mark’s approach in making full dentures is to use a Changing Faces® system called Denture Genics®, a cutting-edge technique which takes into account your age, gender and personality when designing your dentures. Changing Faces® dentures are designed to give you a natural and youthful appearance combined with optimal function. These techniques ensure you receive dentures that support your cheeks and lips, restoring the correct proportions and contours to your face (The Changing Faces® Effect). Mark also has a keen interest in implant-retained restorations to give his patients the best possible results in both stability and appearance.

Giles Saxon

Giles Saxon is the principal dentist of Aspire Dental Clinic and works closely with Mark. In 1990 he qualified from the University of Sheffield in dentistry and has worked in the Derbyshire area since. His pursuit of clinical excellence has involved attending courses in a wide range of dental techniques throughout the UK and Europe. He currently holds the post-graduate qualifications MFGDP (UK) and DPDS. He particularly enjoys helping patients with solving their dental problems and improving their quality of life and self esteem through dentistry. He is a member of the British Periodontal Society, the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the British Society of Occlusal Studies.

Giles works with Mark to ensure patients receive health checks and that people with partial dentures are treated for any signs of gum disease and tooth decay prior to commencing treatment.

Giles ensures that Mark receives all the diagnostic information he needs, something which is invaluable for planning and constructing partial dentures to meet patient's individual requirements. This high level of cooperation ensures patients receive dentures that give them the best possible solution, and which are more comfortable to wear, combined with a high degree of functionality.

In addition to conventional suction-fit dentures, Changing Faces® Chesterfield also offers denture stabilisation through the use of dental implants. This technique involves the placement of dental implants into the jawbone, greatly improving denture stability and bite strength. All dental implant surgery is carried out by an Implant Dentist at the practice who works alongside Mark.

Giles and Mark collaborate closely with an Implant Dentist who is experienced in a dental implantology technique that can be completed in a single day (Same Day Teeth). This approach is sometimes called, Teeth in a Day, Same Day Smile or All-on-4. The technique requires at least four dental implants to be optimally placed in either the upper or lower jaw. These implants are used to hold complete arches of teeth firmly in place, providing patients with much improved stability and functionality.

If you are interested in Changing Faces® dentures you can arrange to see Mark for a free mini consultation. This is your chance to discuss your reasons for seeking treatment with him, and to talk about what you’d like to achieve through having new dentures. This initial consultation can be invaluable, as you'll be able to see first-hand Mark's experience and dedication in creating beautifully natural dentures, and will gain a much better understanding of what you can reasonably expect to achieve before beginning treatment.
